Massage Therapy

A Relaxation Massage helps to relax both our mind and body. It is a smooth gentle style of massage designed to release tension from within our bodies, and improve circulation and energy flow in the body. It can relieve the effects of excess stress many of us now experience by slowing down our heart rate.
Other benefits include relief of minor muscle pain and soreness after exercise, it speeds up recovery, improves movement and circulation and helps to eliminate toxins from our bodies. A Deep Tissue Massage helps to focus on a specific area of tension or tightness.
Everyday we can carry around a certain amount of stress, a relaxation massage can be a way to help relieve this. I believe that we should all have a regular massage as part of our health care and our general well-being.

Deep Tissue Massage (DTM)

This may be included in your relaxation massage to address muscle tension. DTM helps to focus on a specific area of tension or tightness; a deeper massage may offer some relief. I will discuss this with you prior to your massage commencing.

Enjoying Your Massage

Your modesty and comfort is a priority and is always considered, when receiving a massage a system of draping will ensure only areas being massaged will be exposed.

After Your Massage

I will give you a glass of water after your massage to flush out toxins which may have been released into your system during a massage [It is important that you continue to drink plenty of water after a massage]

You may experience some physical or emotional changes e.g. mild discomfort, headaches, or tiredness; this is an indication of the cleansing of toxicity from tense muscles.
